American Idol All Star Challenge DVD Game was one of the first projects I worked on while at Screenlife Games.  This project is a bit old; it was created in 2005 for the DVD platform, so it was rendered out at 640×480.  However, I feel like the essence of the American Idol show was captured and brings back fun memories of what the show was like during its early seasons.  We were fortunate to have Ryan Seacrest lend his voice for the project, which helped to immerse fans into the game.  There were multiple talented designers involved, so a lot of the assets “switched hands” during the overall creation.  My main contribution was in Adobe After Effects, compositing assets together, syncing camera movement of both 3DS Max & After Effects assets using the “Max 2 AE” plugin, and scene post processing (levels, curves, filters, etc.).
